Description
20" (51 cm.) A fanciful carousel is richly decorated with mirrored center pedestal, (faded) red sateen covered base, red and white striped awning decorated with gold metal fringe and gold ormolu border. Suspended from the outer edge of the awning are four bisque-head children, each riding a carousel animal, two on classic ponies, and two on merry pink pigs. When wound, the carousel twirls about in a merry way, and music plays. Excellent condition, some staining on awning, costumes a bit dusty, mechanism and music function well. Circa 1915. Sold as is.
