22" (56 cm.) Bisque socket head, very deep blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, mauve-blushed eye shadow, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with heart-shaped upper lips, outlined lips, pierced ears, auburn mohair wig over cork pate, French composition fully-jointed body, beautiful antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, French body is not original but is of the same era and is appropriate. Marks: J-10 (head) Le Petit Parisien Bebe Steiner (body). Comments: Joanny, circa 1888. Value Points: very distinctive facial shape is most endearing, most beautiful eyes.
