19" (48 cm.) Composition shoulderhead of chubby toddler, painted dark brown eyes with upper eyeliner, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth in smiling expression with impressed lip corner dimples, painted teeth, brunette bobbed wig, muslin torso, composition lower arms and legs. Condition: very good, repaint to arms. Comments: possibly Amberg, wigged variation of their "Baby Peggy" celebrity child doll, circa 1928. Value Points: wearing original pink cotton dress, slip and cap, the rare doll is from the private collection of the Diana Serra Cary, known as "Baby Peggy".
