Rectangular box with ball feet has elaborate bronze garlands at the sides over mother-of-pearl panels, and a round portrait on the lid with mother-of-pearl accents depicting an 18th century lady with exuberant bonnet. The box opens to padded silk brocade interior. Excellent condition. French, circa 1875.
