22" (56 cm.) Bisque socket head, large blue glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted lashes with "dot" highlights, shaded nostrils, slightly-parted shaded lips, two rows of tiny porcelain teeth, dimpled chin, pierced ears, brunette human hair over Steiner pate, French composition fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: J. Steiner Bte SGDG Paris Fre A 15 (head) Le Petit Parisien Bte SGDG Paris (body). Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1885. Value Points: lovely bisque with soft blush, entrancing deep paperweight eyes, original body and body finish, lovely antique dress in the Au Nain Bleu manner may be original, ruffled cap, undergarments, socks, shoes.
