Description
6 1/2" (17 cm.) Each is a one-piece porcelain figurine depicting the facade of a colorful bookstall, with costumed vendor standing in front alongside his dog, and with stall decorated with bright decorative cards with scenic or portrait images. One stand has a bounty of miniature leather bound faux-books on the shelves, and the other has two open slots with interchangeable cards for the month and day. Excellent condition except missing porcelain on table cards. Germany, circa 1865.
