30" (76 cm.) Pink-tinted porcelain shoulderhead with rounded facial modeling, black center-parted hair drawn smoothly into short uniform finger curls, blue painted eyes in deeply-defined eye sockets, black and red upper eyeliner, black single-stroke brows, circle accents at eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with very full lips, muslin stitch-jointed body, new bisque lower arms, antique costume includes paisley jacket and pocket watch on chair. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1865. Value Points: exceptional sculpting especially of eye sockets and around the mouth, fine quality of porcelain and painting.
