Description
Of grey and brown narrow striped wool, the dress features a set-in burgundy velvet yoke above a gathered bodice with set-in waist, gathered skirt, with Juliette sleeves that are very full at the shoulders, burgundy velvet lower sleeves and sash. The yoke is enhanced with intricately-embroidered lace. Along with a richly-woven straw bonnet with elaborately-draped dotted tulle flounce that is accented with lilies of the valley and satin ribbons, with burgundy velvet underbrim. For 21"-22" doll. 5" shoulders. 15" waist. 14" overall. 7" overall length. 3" inside head width. Circa 1885.
