Description
5 1/2" (14 cm.) One-piece bisque head, torso and legs, modeled topknot, forelock curl and side curls, painted black side-glancing googly eyes, black upper eyeliner, curly lashes, dot brows, closed mouth with impish smile, blue wings, loop-jointed arms, spread fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: O'Neill (feet). Comments: Kewpie, designed by Rose O'Neill, made in Germany, circa 1915. Value Points: the doll is preserved in her original box with illustrations and story on the lid.
