Description
20" (51 cm.) Bisque socket head with square-cut shape of jaw lending a character expression, painted large blue eyes with upper-glancing expression, thick black upper eyeliner, white lower eyeliner, angled feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, impressed cheek dimples, brunette mohair bobbed wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition generally excellent. Marks: 520 8 1/2 K&H (in banner). Comments: Kley and Hahn, circa 1910. Value Points: especially fine sculpting of cheek dimples, artistic painting of eyes, original body and body finish.
