8" (20 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, slightly-parted lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 979 0. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: the little doll, rare model in this size, is preserved in her original trunk with pink-twill-covering, wearing antique lavender cotton dress, with undergarments, leather slippers, and silk bonnet; and also owns five additional dresses or ensembles, bonnet, and carries her own little sculpted hair bisque doll.
