Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, narrow blue glass enamel inset eyes with darker blue outer rims, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at elbows, hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 3. Comments: Gaultier, circa 1875. Value Points: beautifully-preserved poupee with very sturdy fresh body, original wig, original bronze green and coral silk fashionable ensemble with elaborate detail, undergarments, stockings, leather heeled boots.
