8 1/2" (22 cm.) The firmly stuffed light brown mohair elephant is posed on a cast iron wheeled base, with stitched ears, curled trunk, felt tusks, clear eyes with black pupils, and tail. Generally excellent. Germany, Steiff, circa 1915.
