18" (46 cm.) Seated on a woven wicker chair is a bisque head doll with blue glass eyes, mohair lashes, painted lashes and brows, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, carton torso and lower legs, wire arms, bisque forearms, antique dress. She is holding an all-bisque baby in her left arm and a bone-handled brass bell rattle in her right. When wound, the girl nods her head and shakes the rattle. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: D. Vorms Paris (original store paper tag). Comments: for the French market, circa 1900. Value Points: charming French toy, the little girl with beautiful lashes performs a charming activity.
