Bisque socket head, very deep blue glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, lushly-painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with heart-shaped upper lip, shaded lips, blushed cheeks, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, lovely antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 8 (and artist checkmarks) Bebe Jumeau Diplome d'Honneur (paper label on body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1886. Value Points: especially beautiful example of the beloved "tete" model with very deep paperweight eyes dramatized by rich decoration, original body and body finish, original wig.
