The tall desk has sunburst arch at the crest,bookcase shelving above the desk containing wooden sets of faux-books,slanted drop front desk with 8 file niches,green leather writing surface with tooled edging,above base with two large drawers and two pencil drawers,with bone and wooden drawer knobs. Mid-19th century. Included are six miniature leather bound translation dictionaries (German/English,German/Italian,German/French),printed in Germany,1926. Generally excellent.
