Description
9" (23 cm.) Each has felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, wide "O" shaped side-glancing eyes, painted lashes and high arched brows, "O" shaped mouth, muslin body, jointing at shoulders and legs, felt arms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Lenci (original cloth, paper, and silver foil label on one). Comments: Lenci, circa 1930, included is red-haired girl with burgundy polka dot dress, holding a wooden piglet; and black-felt haired girl wearing green felt costume, carrying a large yellow squash (original label indicating costume of Abruzzo). Value Points: near mint original condition with vibrant coloring, amusing accessories.
