12" (30 cm.) The adult man with sculpted earthenware head having painted blue eyes, closed mouth, painted hair and moustache, muslin body, paper mache hands, is wearing navy blue woolen military uniform. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Circa 1934, from a series of military figures, representing 15 soldiers from the Allied Nations, as presented in a display at the Musee de la Guerre in Vincennes at that time. Value Points: the figure wears well-detailed military uniform including medals, leather boots, belt, flask and holster.
