Description
7 1/2" (19 cm.) table h. 3 1/2" h. of teapot. The walnut-finished octagonal-top table has single pedestal on four footed base, and is decorated with incised carvings. Atop the table is a fine porcelain teaset with purple lustre finish and gilt trim comprising lidded teapot, lidded sugar, creamer, four footed cups and saucers, and four plates. Each of the plates, cups and serving pieces is decorated with an image of a beautiful woman, and the teapot has an image of a romantic couple. Excellent condition. Circa 1885.
