Description
16" (41 cm.) Composition sculpted head and torso with sculpted brown hair, black shirt with white collar and red banner "RCA Radiotrons", with wooden radio tube-shaped hat, wooden-segmented limbs allowing for infinite posing, wooden red boots; the limbs are painted bright red and yellow to simulate a costume, and his ball-shaped hands have slits for holding promotional cards. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Cameo,circa 1930, the character was designed by Joseph Kallus after illustrations by Maxfield Parrish, and produced as a promotional display for RCA Radiotrons. Value Points: perfectly preserved imaginative character doll, rare to find.
