Description
28" (71 cm.) Of paper mache, with swivel head, blue glass inset eyes, painted facial features including beaming smile and impressed laughter dimples, the clown has a sculpted tiny top hat set askance on his bald pate, and has delightfully rotund body with 44" waist diameter, painted and sculpted costume, and with sculpted hands clasping his ample waist. Condition: generally excellent, some minor fading. Comments: Germany, circa 1890. Value Points: extremely rare grand sized rolly-dolly, whose other rarity factors include glass eyes and swivel head.
