23" (58 cm.) Porcelain shoulderhead with elongated full throat, black sculpted hair in deep waves behind the ears, fine stippling lines around the face, and loosely braided or coiled arrangements of very full hair at crown and back of head, painted facial features, muslin body, porcelain lower limbs, fine antique gown with long jacket, pagoda sleeves, undergarments, leather boots. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1875. Value Points: very rare model with especially fine detail of painting and sculpting, superb coiffure. Ex-collection Legoland Museum of Antique Toys and Dolls.
