16" (41 cm.) All carved wooden doll, socket head, deeply sculpted eye sockets with pronounced pupils, azure blue eyes, black eyeliner, brush-stroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, brunette mohair tacked-on wig, wooden spring-jointed body. Condition: good, original finish with very light touch-ups. Comments: Schoenhut of Philadelphia, the first production of the 306 model was made only from May to November 1911. Value Points: extremely rare early model with compelling features that are deeply sculpted.
