15" (38 cm.) Bisque socket head, grey glass inset eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brush-stroked and feathered brows, accented eye corners, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, auburn human hair wig, Sonneberg composition and wooden fully jointed body with straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 136. Comments: Sonneberg, circa 1882, mystery maker. Value Points: especially fine detail of painting of brows and lips, beautiful complexion and eyes, original body and body finish.
