14" (36 cm.) Cloth head with flat-dimensional face, shaped brown hair in short bob and bangs, oil painted complexion and facial features, brown wide eyes, painted upper lashes, red eyeliner, single-stroke brows, detailed nose, rosebud shaped lips, blushed cheeks, jointed arms and legs, wearing plaid school girl dress. Condition: very good, wear to body, nice original paint on face and hair. Marks: "Baby Peggy" 8/30/96 (ink lettered on doll). Comments: portrait doll of the early Hollywood film child star Baby Peggy, circa 1930s. Value Points: rarely found doll is from the private collection of the Diana Serra Cary, known as "Baby Peggy".
