Description
5" (13 cm.) An all-bisque standing Kewpie with topknot and blue wings has googly eyes that are side-glancing toward the flocked-finish brown teddy bear that he is holding, the teddy bear with large googly eyes that are glancing at Kewpie. The pair are attached to a bisque platform, standing alongside an Art Nouveau column which is actually a vase. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: c. (in circle). Comments: Germany, circa 1915, from designs by Rose O'Neill. Value Points: rare action Kewpie with appealing teddy bear theme.
