Description
20" (51 cm.) h. x 18"w. The open-front wooden stage with painted background scenery of trees and other towers, is set with an interior platform having painted details, and with wooden and carton towers and turrets. Posed in the fort are twelve 4" paper mache soldiers with painted uniforms, one with horse, and four additional smaller soldiers. Excellent condition, light paint wear on a few soldiers. French, circa 1900, similar sets were presented in the SFBJ catalogs.
