Description
11" (28 cm.) h. 5" inside face diam. Wire-framed ivory silk bonnet overlaid with embroidered black tulle, edged with burgundy velvet ribbons and fine embroidered white lace, and accented with black bead decorated maroon velour ties, silk flowers and leaves, and black streamers; the bonnet has extended bavolet at the back neck. A gilt-lettered silk label at the inside reads "Mlle Sonnet-Gastellier Modes Auxerre". Excellent condition. Circa 1885.
