Description
12" (30 cm.) man. 12" wagon. Polychromed terra cotta head, bald pate, enamel eyes, aged lines and frowning expression, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, wearing original peasant costume and carrying leather satchel. Along with a wooden wheeled wagon with three wooden barrels. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, mid-1700s.
