Description
7" (18 cm.) x 5" box. 15" square shawl. The beautifully woven red cashmere shawl with woven and fringed paisley border has embroidered weaver's signature in one corner, and is preserved in its original presentation box bearing the green stamp "Maison Huret No 22 Boulevard Montmartre Paris" on the inside lid. Excellent condition. French, circa 1860, rare and wonderfully preserved accessory.
