Description
Of rich midnight blue velvet, the ensemble comprises a fully-lined great coat with faux double-breast construction, two rows of eight brass buttons, rolled collar with square-cut back collar which is decorated with brass anchor-centered medallions, and with box-pleats at the back with inverted center pleat. Along with matching knickers with attached top which is velvet at the front and red muslin at the back. With matching sailor cap decorated with brass anchor and crown medallions, and with red and white striped stockings. For 14" doll. 3" shoulder width. 9" overall length coat. Circa 1885.
