17" (43 cm.) All-cloth doll with pressed and oil-painted hair, facial features and complexion, brown hair with forelock curls, rosy cheeks, shaded brown eyes with brown and black upper eyeliner, accented nostrils, closed mouth, stitch-jointed shoulders, disc-jointed wide hips, separately-stitched thumbs, original costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Kathe Kruse 83233 (bottom of foot). Comments: Kathe Kruse, circa 1915. Value Points: all-original doll with beautiful complexion and painting, original factory costume, original paper label.
