45" (114 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, very plump face with defined chin, blue glass enamel inset eyes with heavily-modeled eyelids, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, wooden fully-articulated body with jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, swivel waist, bisque forearms and hands, antique costume. Condition: bisque excellent. wooden body is French and of the same era albeit not original, bisque arms not original. Marks: (Huret stamp on kid collarette). Comments: Adelaide Huret, circa 1860. Value Points: beautifully sculpted face with swivel neck, original bisque shoulderplate, loveliest complexion and painting.
