Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, mohair lashes, rich dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, "O"-shaped opening of outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (circle dot symbol) Bru Jne 8. Comments: Bru, circa 1890. Value Points: in pristine unplayed with condition, the Bebe Teteur has original nursing mechanism in head, original wig, pate, mohair lashes, superb bisque and painting, original body and body finish, and is wearing original multi-layered boutique costume highlighted by coral cashmere coat/dress with white chiffon gathered ruffles and cuffs, lace cap with rose silk frou-frou ribbons, and also owns original embroidered cutwork bib, undergarments, and bone baby pacifier with rose silk ribbon.
