Description
4" shoulders, 7" waist. The two-piece gown of natural homespun cotton in light brown has transfer designs in green and red, and features a fitted lined bodice with piping at edges, ruching at upper sleeves, fitted cuffs, pleated details at front forming into a tightly-fitted waist, with matching skirt having flat-panel front, wide pleats at the side and ruching at back waist. Excellent condition. Early 1800s.
