Carved wooden head and upper torso with shapely bosom, oval face, black sculpted hair arranged in short curls, enamel or glaze-painted black eyes, closed mouth with gentle smile, padded armature upper arms and legs, carved wooden lower arms and legs, painted shoes, wearing silk fashionable costume of the early 1800s. Very good condition, some retouch. Continental, early 1800s.
