Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted lashes, mauve-blushed eyeshadow, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with richly-shaded lips, pierced ears, brunette human hair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 8 (head, and artist checkmarks). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1885. Value Points: especially beautiful eyes and rich facial painting, original body and body finish, wearing antique red cotton dress and red woolen hooded cape, undergarments, Jumeau socks, leather shoes, and carrying French woven market basket with silk flowers.
