15" (38 cm.) Delicately pink-tinted porcelain shoulderhead, plump face, cobalt blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, delicately-feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with primly-set lips, brunette human hair, softly-stuffed kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees, pull-strings in torso for Rohmer deposed seating system, porcelain lower arms and hands. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (Rohmer green stamp on torso). Comments: Leontine Rohmer, circa 1860. Value Points: brilliant cobalt blue eyes on the early poupee with luminous complexion, original signed body, wonderful hands, antique purple silk gown and velvet trimmed bonnet, undergarments, shoes, socks, and especially fine condition of body.
