Description
4" (10 cm.) and 2". Each is a one-piece bisque seated Kewpie with classic topknot, blue wings and side-glancing googly eyes; the larger holding a book on his lap and with arm outstretched as though about to turn the page, and the smaller clasping an oversized pencil. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: c. (circle). Comments: Germany, designed by Rose O'Neill, circa 1915.
