All carved wood with socket head, elongated face with very full cheeks, carved bright blue eyes with large black pupils and white eye dots, black upper eyeliner, feathered brows, closed mouth with smiling expression, accent line between the lips, blonde mohair wig, wooden spring-jointed body, nice antique costume. Condition: structurally excellent, finish is original albeit possible revarnishing. Marks: Schoenhut Doll Pat. Jan. 17, ‘11 USA & Foreign Countries. Comments: Schoenhut, model 311, circa 1912. Value Points: highly expressive modeling of face with very full cheeks on slender face, carrying Schoenhut wooden bulldog.
