22" (56 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head with pink-tinted complexion, black sculpted side-parted hair waved away from his face with shaded details, painted facial features, blue upper glancing eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, muslin stitch-jointed body, antique porcelain hands with well-defined fingers, wearing fine gentleman's suit with silk vest. Condition: generally excellent excepting original complexion rubs on forehead. Value Points: rare model of gentleman with beautifully painted hair. Marks: S O6 I (inside shoulder plate). Comments: attributed to Lippert & Haas of Schlaggenwald, circa 1850.
