9" (23 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta head, sculpted brown curly wind-blown hair, enamel eyes, heavy eyelids, eager expression, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, wearing original woven twill work costume with laced tunic, fleeced vest, leather satchel, cap and walking stick. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, mid-1700s, very expressive features and original costume.
