Description
6" (15 cm.) and 7"h. The pair of heavy white bisque dogs, posed seated on back haunches have well-defined furry textured coats, shaved legs with pink-tinged paws, black painted nose with glazed highlight, whisker spots; the larger with open mouth having defined stuck-out tongue and double row of teeth, the smaller with closed mouth. Excellent condition. European, late 19th century, possibly Sevres.
