Description
5" (13 cm.) Each has bisque swivel head on bisque torso, sculpted short curly hair with intricate detail of comb marks and curls, brown glass eyes, painted lashes, tinted brows, open mouth, laughing expression, two beaded lower teeth, loop-jointed bisque arms and toddler legs, painted white socks and pink one-strap shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: "Bonnie Babe", designed by Georgene Averill and made in Germany under commission for George Borgfeldt, circa 1920. Value Points: the charming pair wear original matching boy and girl twin costumes, and have excellent bisque and sculpting.
