12" (30 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, brown painted lashes, single stroke brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with hole at the center designed for bottle nipple or pacifier, flocked hair, composition baby body with rubber ball at back torso to allow "sucking" action. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SFBJ 242 Paris. Comments: SFBJ, the second version of the nursing baby created by SFBJ, circa 1912. Value Points: very fine bisque and modeling, original flocked hair, original body and body finish.
