Pressed bisque socket head with very plump facial shape, almond-shaped brown glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, delicately painted lashes and brows, rose-blushed eye shadow, shaded accent dots at eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with upturned lip corners, accented and shaded lips, dimpled chin, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, French composition and wooden fully jointed bebe body with original pewter hands, beautiful antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: P 4 D. Comments: Petit & Dumoutier, circa 1880. Value Points: very rare and exquisitely sculpted French bebe with lovely bisque and painting, distinctive original body.
