9" (23 cm.) Bisque socket head, amber brown glass paperweight inset eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, shaded lips, pierced ears, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, wearing original muslin chemise and leather shoes marked L.I. Condition: faint old hairline from crown rim into left cheek. Marks: Depose Jumeau 1 (incised, head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1882. Value Points: very rare model in this size, the bebe is in virtually unplayed with condition and has most precious expression.
