29" (74 cm.) Bisque socket head, large blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, dark painted curly lashes, brushstroked brows with decorative glaze, accented nostrils, open mouth, shaded and outlined lips, four porcelain teeth, impressed chin dimple, pierced ears, ash-blonde hand-tied human hair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, lovely antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SH 16 949. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: very beautiful early doll with choicest bisque and painting, original body and body finish.
