Having solid-bone carved head with well-sculpted details of facial features, tiny brown glass enamel eyes, defined chin and nose, mounted on wooden body with defined waist, dowel-jointing of shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, and pin-attached lower legs and feet, and lower arms and hands of carved bone. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Continental, mid-1700s. Value Points: outstanding detail of carving evincing a remarkable facial expression, rare body, the early model is rarely found.
