35" (89 cm.) h. 23" l. The luxurious wooden canopy bed has a carved finial top and wooden bed frame of fine exotic rosewood with fine burled finish, with richly fitted silk canopy and bed fittings, the canopy edged with dangling crystals. Excellent condition. The choice and exotic woods indicate presentation by Maison Giroux, the prestigious 19th century Parisian decorative arts store, circa 1875.
